How To Make Breakfast At Home More Interesting

There are plenty of ideas available that will give you good advice on how to pack your child a healthy and tasty meal to take to school. These same principles can be applied to your husband's lunch, or, if you work outside the home.

But there are days when the family home at noon. Even if they are at work and at school, and you're home, you still need a nutritious meal that is delicious and not completely boring. I know how easy it is to get into the habit of a peanut butter sandwich everyday and jelly and a glass of milk. It often makes me want to reach the cookie jar just to eat some enjoyment.

But there are ways you can prepare lunches more appealing. Here are some ideas that might help.

Leftovers

One of my favorite lunch is going to heat up dinner in the evening. There is something to cook a meal, which is simply a more filling. You can fill out the disc was meat, potatoes and vegetables and heat in a microwave oven. Add a salad or a cup of fruit to go with him, the more your favorite beverage.

If you prefer a hot sandwich, you can always take part in your leftover meat and pull it out, or hand-rag. Sandwich or heat it up and put it in between the slices of bread or toast. Add pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise, or whatever you want.

A chicken salad sandwich quickly, take some leftover cooked chicken and shred it, pulling it apart from the hand. Chop the rest of them small pieces with a sharp knife. Place chicken in a small bowl and add a little mayonnaise and a few drops of cucumber juice and maybe some diced celery. Mix well and spread on bread, buns or rolls.

Range

Try a variety of sandwiches. Consider some of the fast food restaurants and the kinds of snacks you serve that you like. You can replicate these at home, and even make lower in fat if desired. For example, try hot beef and Swiss cheese toast is still a chicken breast or grilled with a little ranch dressing, lettuce and tomato. You can buy cooked chicken breasts are grilled fast microwave. Or, instead of a sandwich, use beef or chicken - cut into strips - in a salad with favorite dressing. Add some cookies or muffins to finish the meal.

You can also experiment with a variety of breads. Instead of the usual white bread or wheat, rye or oat bread try. Buns or rolls can also be a change of pace.

Grill Pan

Grilled cheese is not the only type of sandwich you could cook in a skillet. Try cooking your roast beef and cheese or chicken sandwich. Butter outside of bread, fried in a nonstick pan on each side until nicely browned.

Soup, stew, or chili

A bowl of hot soup is a great way to enjoy a filling of "Comfort" lunch. Add crackers or croutons flavored to make it even more delicious.

Breakfast

Foods like breakfast can also make a good lunch. Fried or scrambled egg, toast and juice is very satisfying. If you have a sweet tooth, pancakes or French toast with syrup or honey is delicious. Or instead of syrup or honey, sprinkle some berries or pieces of fruit pieces in crepes and roll like a pancake (but not too fine).
